ICCB 2022 takes place at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) Congress Center situated in the Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture building (Pavilhão de Civil). 
IST (Alameda Campus) is located at a convenient distance from hotels, restaurants and diverse cultural sites.
Being close to the Lisbon city centre, IST is easily reached by metro (metro station "Alameda" - Red and Green lines; metro sation "Saldanha" - Red and Yellow lines), bus, taxi or car from any location in town, including the airport (metro station "Aeroporto"- Red line), which is only a 10 minute taxi ride.

There are several hotels in the vicinity of IST. Also, there are two metro stations nearby (Saldanha and Alameda), making it easy to reach IST from other locations in Lisbon

Moving to the City:

  >  By Taxi:

You can take a taxi at the aeroport plaza, call it by phone or use one of the several local and international apps. Uber can be used in Portugal. There are two taxi stands within the perimeter of the airport, one at arrivals and the other at departures. The fare on the taxi meter should read 3.25 € (daytime) or 3.90 € (night time). Outside the city limits, city fares are charged per kilometer (0.47 €/km daytime; 0.56 €/Km night time). An additional 1.60 € is charged for the transportation of luggage or animals. Before taking a taxi, inquire about the fare.

Lisbon Airport has its own Metro Station - "Aeroporto" - Red Line, which is the most convenient public transport.

There are several bus lines going trough the airport. The bus route numbers and the names of the "end of the line" terminals are:

   >  Arriving to Lisbon by Train

The main train stations in Lisbon are: "Estação de Stª Apolónia" and "Estação do Oriente", with national and international connections (Lisbon-Madrid-Paris and Lisbon-Porto-Vigo). Connection to the metro lines exist at both stations ("Stª Apolónia - Blue line; and "Oriente" - Red line)

Traffic drive on the right in Portugal and international traffic signs are used. The minimum age for driving is 18 years old. Speed limits are: 120 km/h (75 miles/h) on highways, 90 km/h (60 miles/h) on roads and 50 km/h (30 miles/h) in urban areas.

Main highways: From North peninsula take A1 or A8, from East take A6 or A23, from South take A2.

   >  Moving Arround Lisbon

The most convenient way to move around Lisbon is by subway (Metro) by bus (Carris) or by taxi.

Public transports need electronic reusable cards called “Viva Viagem". This card can be bought in vending machines inside Metro Stations and you can buy trips or load money on the card.

  (you need to buy trips in machines inside the Metro stations)
- One ticket (valid for 1 hour, within Metro and Carris network): 1,50 €
- One ticket (valid for 24 hours, within Metro and Carris network): 6,40 €
